My name is Rachel. I’ve been a Dog walker/sitter for over 8 years and an animal lover forever!

I started up Go Wild in hopes of providing a better than average level of pet care. I am obsessed with all animals and truly believe they deserve the best care possible. I will go above and beyond to ensure I can provide the best for your pets.

Studied at Capel Manor College

Enrolling at Capel Manor College was the start of my venture into the field of working with animals. I gained a wealth of valuable hands-on experience and knowledge. Over the course of the two years, our curriculum encompassed the study of Animal Behaviour, Welfare, Health, Nutrition, Training, Genetics, Breeding, Biology, and Nursing.

Volunteer for Cats Protection Agency

I spent a year volunteering as a 'Cat Carer' for Cats Protection Agency. This experience provided me with valuable insights into the operational and managerial aspects of a Rescue Centre. It also deepened my understanding of cat behaviour, particularly in establishing bonds with nervous or shy cats.

Studied Animal Management at Writtle University College

Attending university was a highly valuable experience. While it may not have been my preferred method of learning as a hands-on individual, it held equal importance in my educational journey. I gained extensive knowledge and practical experience, particularly in working with new breeds of animals.

Over 8 Years Experience Dog Walking Professionally

After leaving education I jumped straight into Dog Walking. Having previously done it part-time during my studies, I found the transition smooth and enjoyable. I joined an excellent company, where I spent several years continuing to enhance my valuable expertise and practical knowledge. I then decided to begin my own journey and go solo, which is when Go Wild began in 2021!
